Love of Books

Published on Feb 6, 2013

"Us Karen" was written by Richard Dove and illustrated by the talented Karen artist, Tha Do, to tell the amazing story of the Karen people's journey, as refugees, from Burma to Australia.

The book was published as a Wyndham Community and Education Centre project and was funded by the Wyndham City Council. "Us Karen" was launched at Wyndham City Council on the 22nd of February, 2012 before an audience of over 300 people.

The Prime Minister of Australia, Julia Gillard, kindly supported this book launch by recording this speech from her office, in Canberra. The book has already sold 1,000 copies.

Julie McGregor also supported this book enormously by providing her own valuable time with the layout of the book along with the creation of the cover design setup ready for printing.

Julie McGregor often supports charities with her gift of valuable time and knowledge.

At the time of this compilation, Julie McGregor had spent over 8 years in the industry. Julie worked very hard to develop her business named Love of Books.

Time is a gift, Julie says. Julie had no trouble giving the gift of time to many authors in many forms.

Julie McGregor strived to achieve her goals publishing thousands of authors successfully with full support worldwide.

Support from Friends

Julie McGregor's friends say up yours to the big companies and masterminds who took her to the cleaners in 2014.

How dare they take advantage of such a beautiful strong and caring woman. And then to top it off bully the living f.. out of her for years following.

Up yours, you cheats and thieves, says Melissa.

These people are ruthless cunning underhanded low lives. Hope karma comes back at them.

How does anyone sleep at night knowing the destruction they have done?

What about the clients that they have disadvantaged during the takeover?

Do they not care about any of them?

I seriously doubt the bullying and underhanded harassment through will ever cease. It's all about the green dollar only with these horrible people.

I hope Julie McGregor can live silently in peace now. I do hope she gets her funds to sue the asses off these low lives.

Justice needs to come.

Smooth Sailing

Julie McGregor never thought it would be smooth sailing when she first started out building up a new publishing business.

Sure, she had experience. But she never anticipated that her years of hard work would be ripped from underneath her.

Placing her trust in the people around her left her fall short to say the very least. Losing her lively-hood and years of hard work.

Julie McGregor invested time with clients. Time is GOLD - Not money sho would say. Big companies could not afford the time.

Julie McGregor would spend countless hours assisting clients on many levels.

Her support was over and above what any other publishing business could offer.

How did she do this we asked? Well, according to Julie McGregor she was paid for the services delivered, yes. But the time she invested over and above the payment level did not have to be paid from anyone else's payroll, as it was her own business. 'Over and above is what anyone could say here'.

Smooth sailing is not how it all began

There were countless hours into the nights spent. On average 15 hours a day that she invested in the setting up of her own business.

Her husband would come home from a night shift, feed her, make her cups of tea and do the washing while she stayed on her computer piecing her path to success together for many months.

How does one go from being a prominent business owner of 7 years without one single complaint to zero?   TRUST - Beware of the devils in disguise.
