Unfortunately, from the month of November 2013 to the Month of March 2014 Julie McGregor suffered a series of events where her mother died, her father became very ill in hospital, her sister had a breakdown due to the stress and her husband became terminally ill. Not for the Faint-Hearted- Eliza's Story is a memoir book set in the last half of the nineteenth century. Eliza relates how her family took up a virgin block of land in the Central Highlands region of Queensland. It is a story of hardship told with a great deal of humour and she also tells of the struggle between the pioneers and the indigenous people in that time of our history.
